flagnation
Hi, I am finally going to replace my original Z2 HDD for an upgraded Z3 80G HDD. I currently have the toggle switch for the brake bypass; is that still necessary with the upgraded Z3 HDD or I only need the 2-wire bypass? Moreover do I need to download any software? Thanks a lot, Jonas

Hyperite
Hi, I pm you because you are the best and I wanted to make sure I have your input. From what you said the Z series never needed a toggle switch but the installer did put one in my car. Basically, when it`s on I can use the greyed buttons when i'm going under 15 mph. When it`s off, I can't. I was told that it replaces the fact that I have to put the hand brake? Should I should take it off or replace it by something else? Does the 2-wire bypass solve all this? Thanks, Jonas Why would you ever turn the toggle switch off, then? Do the 2-wire bypass, as we've preached all over this forum.
flagnation
Hi, I didn't ask the shop to install the switch; that's why I need to know if I can remove it once I install my Z3 upgraded HDD and do the 2-wire bypass? Thanks, Jonas
