Differences between f500bt and f90bt

I know the huge difference is one is indash and one is ondash, and one can play disc and the other cant. But other than that what are the major difference between the two. the both have msn direct unlike the 700bt. I just ordered the 90bt and i was thinking that this may work a little better if it had all the features since I can move it from car to car, and its cheaper

One is a head unit with built in GPS. The other is just a standalone GPS unit that interfaces with your car's current head unit.

How the 700bt doesnt have msn direct but the others do. any other Features that the 90bt or 900bt have that the 500bt doesnt have?

Have you look on Pioneer's website and read over the features that each unit has? It's pretty clear to see that they have pretty much all the same features besides the difference in hardware functions (disk drive, amplifier, radio tuner)

 

They appear to both have all the same features. Flash based nav, voice recognition/command, bluetooth, msn direct, 3d landmarks, usb & sd card ports, high def 800x480 screen, rear view camera capability, ipod compatibility. Again, you can find all this on their website.

Another thing is that as of right now, we have no idea how to bypass the motion lockout on the F500 unit.

I though I read in that topic that the software bypass did not work on the F500 unit... maybe I'm wrong.

Yeah, I was the one who "thought" it didnt work but apparently it does. I was not properly grounding the wire. It definately works, I can watch music videos now.
