alikhan2004
Hi just bought a AVIC D3 and I read that you wont be able to control the videos via D3 but you will have to control it thru the ipod itself so will pioneer make a update that will let us play videos via D3 controls? Also is the 80GB ipod classic usable with the D3?
twostep
I doubt there will be an update for that. From what ive read, its an ipod restriction and not the D3... but i could be wrong. As far as the 80gb classic goes, there are many reports that the classics do not work on the d3 and you should stick with 5Gen or 5.5 generation....

mecha082
I have an 80Gb Ipod Classic and it works fine with the unit. You can play videos as well, you will have to unplug the ipod and plug back it back in before it will allow you to view anything. For this though you will have to downgrade the ipod software.
