rotun
I just put the gex-p10xmt in so now I have both Sirius and XM but when switching between the 2 without adjusting the volume there is a very noticeable difference in the volume level coming out. the XM is much lower than Sirius. I tried adjusting the SLA & unfortunately it uses the same settings for both XM & Sirius. Anyone else notice this?
kaplan_reject
I have both and have found that Sirus has a way better sound quality, and IMO better programming. Too bad the D3 Siruis interface is crap. I think if something were to happen to my XM reciever it would not be replaced and I may not renew my subscription next year, I just prefer sirius. jlong1987
My sirius is louder but it sounds better. My XM sounds flat no matter how i adjust the EQ and the funny thing is my XM shows full connection and Satellites while my Sirius shows only about half signal strength. superjet
Adjust the SLA to compensate, thats what it is there for.
CamelTowing
My Sirius is louder too. Its as if the SLA adjusts both Sirius and XM up/down because I cannot get them to be the same volume level
jlong1987
I dont mind my Sirius being louder. I just turn the volume down. I just wish my XM didn't come in so flat sounding, but I only have a few months left on my XM subscription I doubt I will renew it since I listed to Sirius for the most part anyways. The SLA as everyone has said will control the input for both the Sirius and XM
