cjpc
I recently had my headunit stolen (along with the faceplate), however luckily my hideaway unit as well as all of my cables were untouched. So, I picked up a used headunit (ebay), sans the faceplate at a decent price. Needless to say, the system does not do much without the faceplate. I just want to make sure (since I never removed my old faceplate) that this is proper, and I did not get a lemon for a Head Unit. Sure, I hear the drive spin up, fan kicks on of the Head Unit (its a N3 head, with a N1 brain), however I can not open the LCD. The security light does blink once with the hideaway hooked up, and repeatedly without it hooked up. I'm hoping that is due to the missing faceplate. If anyone can let me know if this is proper, that would be great. Thanks! CJ
