DiscoLad
Nav system is installed and works great. There is one oddity though - my XM is coming in quite quietly, while my Sirius is much louder. Unfortunately I can't compensate for this with the volume controls (that I can see) as both the XM and Sirius are control together (you can't set the volume independently). Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions? I keep having it turned up to listen to XM then get deafened when Sirius or any other source comes on. Thanks! superjet
Turn SLA all the way up when your source is selected to XM.
DiscoLad
Turn SLA all the way up when your source is selected to XM. What is the SLA? the source level? If so, this ups it for both XM & Sirius at the same time, so Sirius will always be much louder.
superjet
SLA (source level adjustment) Guess I never tried both Sirius and XM, but you would think they would be different since they are different sources. A Pioneer rep once told me they screwed up on the XM tuners output level, and too adjust the SLA all the way up every time. I guess you could get a little crazy, figure out the output wires on the tuner's circuit board and add a audio line driver.
CamelTowing
They both go up with SLA, you just have to use the volume each time you switch between the two
DiscoLad
Thanks guys. I assume the same goes for the phone, as it is quite quiet despite being turned up all the way.
