Agent Jones
When will we see map updates? I just installed the f90bt and in Jan I will be moving to a new house in a new subdivision that is not on any maps since it was just started like 2 months ago. Any way to get those street on my gps? cranbers
The map updates come out once a year, the company in this case igo/teleatlas I think puts out updates maps. You get to buy them for say 120 bucks on a SDcard, Kenwood currently does this where they have garmin I think it is doing their gps turn by turn. So I can only assume its the same thing. Now that is not guarenteeing that they will be fully up to date, there has been some road changes where I live that happened years ago, Magellan etc all have these changes in the latest gps units available retail, not surprising my f900 naturally has out of date maps, when everyone else has them up to date. I think the maps were dated 2/2008. So definately not on top of things. Hope their motto is not the worlds most up to date maps guaranteed, what is it tomtom's motto and they brag about that? Pretty true though considering the detail.
