Little help with a Z3 install...

First off I love the forum. I just recently got a great deal on a 2007 Commander and I love it. Since I got it I've been looking for an in dash Nav/DVD/CD touch screen player to install. After a lot of research I've finally settled on the Pioneer Avic Z3. (If you guys have any other suggestions then I would love to hear. I am still open to anything.)

 

So now I have a couple of questions. I've been doing alot of research but have been wanting to ask a few questions just to make sure.

Should I order a dash for a 2007 with the navigation unit spot or just have my buddy custom my current dash?

Also I want to be able to use Sirius satellite radio so would I have to order a separate wiring unit or does it come out of the box ready?

Is there anything else I would need to order to have installed so that I'll be able to use the unit to it's full potential.

 

I know I sound like a complete newb, but to be honest I really am lol. I just want make sure I do everything right the first time and not have to tear everything out because I didn't do enough research and ask enough questions. Any help is greatly appreciated.
