garrettoomey Posted October 18, 2008 Report Share Posted October 18, 2008 Does anyone have any suggestions on this issue: Z1 with a Z3 upgrade hdd. Z1 bought new, had it in the car for a year before swapping out the drive for the Z3 hdd. Located in Barrie Ontario Canada, maps seem fine and complete for the area. The maps load fine and all SEEMS fine until you set a route. It calculates and shows distance to destination etc but there are no turn announcements or route overlay (Just that straight Red Line to destination) . When you touch the "next turn" distance icon, the Nav voice just says "Not enough data available in this area" or something close. Tried different saved routes and also random new ones. Reset method 1 and 3 have been done with no change. Reinstall the Z1 hdd, firmware downgrades, and all is well. Reinstall the Z3 hdd, firmware upgrades, and problem returns. The Z3 hdd is one of my (garrettoomey) hdd, and has my standard image restored to it. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
