offroaderf150 Posted October 21, 2008 Report Share Posted October 21, 2008 i searched for this when i was working on my friends 700bt and lg rumor and i didnt find any answers to it. i eventually figured out why her phone would pair up with the 700 but when a call was placed, nothing would show up on the screen and the person on the other side would be able to hear, but nothing would come through the speakers. so in the menu settings for the rumor, you must update the firmware on the phone. itll download it and restart the phone. after that, it took a bit of time to get the head unit to recognize the phone and transfer the phone book, but it eventually did and now everything works flawlessly. so if anybody is having problems with the sprint lg rumor and the f series bluetooth, thats what i did to fix the issue.
