voice dial with iphone

I tried all the combination of sort and show (firstname first, last name first) but it seem that I still have to do voice dial "call Last name, First Name, contact type). Is there a way to switch it so i can do "call First name,l last name, contact type")? This is for version 2.0 firmware.

Does the navi show the names in the contact list correctly?

it show Last Name, First Name, Contact Type doesn't matter how i set it up in the iphone

The iPhone has two settings, one for sort and one for display. Make sure you set both of them to First, Last. I would then delete your phone from the F-Series, and repair it, just to make sure the contact database gets completely wiped out.

 

Reimport them and you should be set.

I did do both Last Name, First Name and First Name Last name but it seem that F-series just reorder the name. I will try again tonight but I was just wonder if anyone know if it a F-series setting or is the the iphone setting.

I understand that, but the iPhone has settings for both sort order and display order. Those are not the same thing, so make sure you set both of them to First Name, Last Name and try again.

 

Maybe you already did that, but if not, that may be your problem (this has been working fine with both of my iPhones well before the update).
