CatchMeIfYouCan631 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 OK, basically what happened was I forgot my lighter at home while I was out, so I turned my car on quick to use the cigarette lighter, then turned it off. The avic was still booting up. Later on when I got into my car to go home, the splash screen came up with an error that read something like "The application failed to run during the previous start up. Would you like to restore back to default which will erase POI's, Track Info, (etc)" and a yes and no option. I clicked no and the unit froze. Instead of resetting it since I couldn't find my stylus, I pulled over and turned the car off/on, and now it works fine. It was just a random error message, but has anyone else ever seen this? Edited to add, I haven't updated my unit yet, nor done any new hacks. Only Stephanie's Data.zip from a while back and a custom theme. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
brink094 Posted November 2, 2008 Report Share Posted November 2, 2008 I've also seen this message after quickly starting and stopping my car. It worked normally after clicking "no". At first I thought it had something to do with my mods, but it just seems to be some kind of failsafe system. Nothing to worry about. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
