ssthornhill
I just had the DNX 8120 installed and I am having problems turning the sound down on the Navigation unit. Looked in all of the manuals that came with it, but nothing on how to lower the audio on the NAV unit. I feel like everytime I get directions this chick is screaming at me. I have no problem with the volume with the rest radio/cd/usb/etc, but the NAV... OUCH! Can anyone give me some advice on what to do with this! Thanks
CamelTowing
Another kenwood customer coming to a pioneer board for help. Funny chit
mikeinnj
Go to the "Set Up" menu, then "AV Interface", scroll over to Page 3 of AV Interface and you can select the Nav voice volume and which speakers it comes out of. Hope this helps.
ssthornhill
Thanks bunches for your assistance. Yes it does help. In the process of finding it, I don't know what I did, but my backup camera is no longer operational. So now when I put my truck in reverse, the backup camera doesn't come on as it normally would. Jeeez why do things have to be so difficult. A manual with simple instructions would be very beneficial, guess that is asking too much. And to the guy with the smart remark about coming to a pioneer site, oh well. I searched the internet and this was the most informative site that I found. So, this is the one I used. To Mike - thanks again for your help.
