Riles Posted September 16, 2006 Report Share Posted September 16, 2006 Hey guys, I just got a reconditioned D1, and I'm trying to do the hack. But, I've hit a seemingly dumb road block- how do I remove a wire from the harness? I've decided that I don't need the Cell Phone Mute wire, but I don't know if I just pull it out, or if I have to stick a paperclip in the harness, or whatever. It doesn't seem to want to pull out. dpdurst Posted September 16, 2006 Report Share Posted September 16, 2006 Small lift up tab, take a jewelers screw driver or exacto knife and lift up while pulling out. Then slide it in the open slot. Make sure when you plug the harness in the wire does not come back out, it happened to me and had to take back out and put back in. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
