masone Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 Installing my new HD Radio on my f900bt i accidentally ripped the bypass wire out of the actual harness, and in doing so ripped the end of the wire. What I need is another wire that will fit into the slot so i can have the unit bypassed again. I'm willing to buy another harness in order for that one wire i just cant seem to find one eBay and dont want to buy something that would have different size wires in the harness. terron Posted November 17, 2008 Report Share Posted November 17, 2008 Strip back 1/4 inch of insulation off the wire you accidently ripped out. Plug the connector in the back of the AVIC and then shove the wire up in the connector so it makes contact with the pin. Then, get a wire tie and secure the wire to its next closest wire neighbor. You could check with radio shack and see if they have replacement molex connectors.. but I doubt they'll have them that small. Quote Link to post Share on other sites
