I drive a 2008 Scion tC RS 4.0 and I'm thinking about getting a avic soon around the holidays so I figured i'd join up now. In the tC's they are just the right measurement for the avic to fit perfectly. I was looking into buying the Z3 but then saw the price and it's quite pricey for my price range. Someone in my location has a Avic D1 and wants $500.00 for it. What is the difference between the D1 and the D3? I want it to be able to play dvds and have ipod control, and also the GPS. I was looking around the forums a little bit and saw that someone stated getting a Z2 and getting the Z3 harddrive is perfect. Any advice would be great.
