pierricktpt
Hi guys, I live in France and the winter is approaching. The temperature are now between 32 and 40 °F. When I use my car the morning (the car is parked in the street), The D3 dosesn't start. I'm driving during few minutes, stop the car, start the car but the D3 doesn't start. So, I leave the car in a garage, use it after my job, and then the D3 starts!!! I don't encounter this issue during summer... If you have any ideas.... I also use a wheel interface CARPI. I don't know if the problem can come from the D3 directly or form the interface... Thanks for your help

kevinl
I am having the same problem with my D3. It used to work great, now that it is cold out it will no longer start reliably. I don't have the wheel interface - just XM and ipod. So anyone have a suggestion as this is a real problem. Help.
04ctd
mine did same in SC, and it's not super cold here. I just put a switch in the ACC line, and switch it off and on once the car gets warmed up. the switch is AWESOME for turning the stupid D3 off i put my switch in the TOP of a cubby hole in the dash, so you don't see it, and i can reach it easy. its great for drive thru's, talking on the cell phone & can't hear, or just turning the unit off to drive in the quiet.
