bfd119 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 Im having this same issue. After cutting it on it say's disk error. Please replace disk with appropriate disk... I press and hold the eject button and it say's mechanism error... It will also not allow me to insert a regular music cd... Please help. I purchased this HU used. dsteinmann Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 I JUst got mine working i took it apart again and flipped the cd rom over and it started updating and reads fine now i also did a eject and reset dont rember if that helped or not but i think its a laser adjustment. it read all types fine before just not the nav disc's so ...
