I want to buy one for my d3, and i want to know which ipod supports video fuction. I want to know which firware version of which ipod supports video playback. Thank you So, will 5th generation video ipod with version 1.3 play video? and if not, which version do i need? (both ipod xgeneration and x version of firmware) Thank you! VBLUE42 Posted November 30, 2008 Report Share Posted November 30, 2008 All 5th gens will work for all features. As stated in the D3 manual though, video will need to be started from the ipod.
