HansTP
Hi there! In the week to come I will pick up my brand new VW Golf 6 TDI 140 DSG Highline. The Highline includes the leather steering wheel with control buttons for the stereo, and my car is also with the F900-BT. What is needed in order to control the AVIC from the steering wheel? a747ba
Does your factory radio have sat built in as well as the cd changer?? Assuming nothing has changed u will probally use the same adapters I used in my b6 passat. The PAC c2rvw,which is the main harness that connects to the factory harness it also gives u the dimmer wire the back up wire and the 12v switched wire. You will not have to splice into the factory wiring at all. The swi-can, will covert the can signal that the car puts out when u use your steering wheel buttons.. The swi-ps is pioneer brand specific and will plug into the harness as well as the radio and lets u program the steering wheel buttons to control the radio functions you want.. You may also need a antenna adapter.. You should be able to get everything from www.enfig.com They are located in the US . I don't know if they have dealers in your area but you could google PAC and see if they have INTL dealers
