However, the 2D map doesn't seem to allow for an option so that the driving direction is always pointing straight up while the map rotates as it needs to. The 3D map does do this, so the system obviously has the capability. As a short-term fix, is there any way to modify any program so the 2D map will do the same thing? As a long-term fix, I think it would be great if the user could touch the compass on both the 2D map and 3D map to toggle between "north points up and driving direction rotates" and "driving direction points up and map rotates" so that everyone could satisfy their personal preferences.
