gfedge
I am trying to boot up into testmode on my Avic F700BT. I am currently on firmware v2.0. I followed the directions as specified in a few of the threads here (I am in IT so it all makes sense thankfully). The unit boots into Windows CE... The copytool executes and I see it copying a few files. When the copy part is complete, I see the OK message on the top left. However, when I try to click the X on the top right, the screen hangs up. I cannot close the copy screen at all. I can't click on the START button. Etc. I attached a screen shot. Any ideas? The testmode I downloaded was posted pre v2.0... Has it changed since v2.0? Thank you for your help. Edge
todx
hit the close "x"
gfedge
hit the close "x" todx - ha. of course I tried that. thanks. Problem was, I was using my finger to try to navigate. After a few fat finger touches, the screen froze. I switched to the stylus and everything worked great. I was able to close the copy window and get into windows explorer. Sorry for the false alarm. Lesson learned - use the stylus for testmode. Thanks. Edge
