alexbouza
Like I said on other topic, today I got installed an F90BT on my GMC ENVOY XL 2003 SLT, BOSE AND ONSTAR. I know for a fact that today they didn't touch anything under the steering wheel. bc that part was done other day and the keyless was working perfect. but today after getting the unit installed I have to be 2 feet from the truck for it to work. Any ideas? Is it possible that any component is giving out interference? thanks a lot Alejandro
terron
interference is very unlikely; your installer screwed up and either something got clipped or unplugged.. perhaps even a burnt fuse. you'd do better on a GM forum asking a question like this since it has nothing to do with the radio
ironicirony
Sounds like what my GM does when the car battery starts to run down.
alexbouza
Hmmmmmm that's interesting. they did kill the battery while performing the installation... And I run it only for like 15 miles after that... Could that be the issue?
jnoffsker
keyless would not be affected by the gmah24b or whatever module they put in there. If your power locks still work check the battery on your remote or try to relearn the remote to system.
alexbouza
Yes the locks work, and the remote works too, just a range problem. Relarning the remote to the system would help? thanks

Relarning the remote to the system would help? thanks No, not for a range problem. The RF antenna in the car has probably been disconnected, moved, or blocked some how.
