I have the 900 and the installer said that he couldn't get it to come on with the remote start. it comes on after you put the key in.... The thing is, the stock stereo turned on with the rem start. I'm going to take it to dodge and have them mess with it since the nav/dvd was part of the deal and you know the dealership want's happy customers. You are absolutely correct, auto dealers are bending over backwards to keep whatever customers they can get! Write an update when you get it taken care of... Im curious as to what they will find! JLeach12 Posted December 19, 2008 Report Share Posted December 19, 2008 the factory remote start doesn't power up the accessory circuits just the ignition circuits. there is no acc wire required for remote start as well as i think there factory start is controlled through can bus. one thing to try is move the radios red wire to the ignition switch it just may work.
