wizzardeel Posted December 31, 2008 Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 ok so i burned some downloaded movies on a DVD+R and DVD-R and they do not play. it says unrecognized file or something like that. I tried one of my old burnt DVDs and only one of the movies plays and I cant forward to any other movie without getting the unrecognized file message. i read some forums online about dvds and it says something about finalizing a disc because some players wont play the content. does anybody else have this problem? wizzardeel Posted December 31, 2008 Author Report Share Posted December 31, 2008 actually it does say that it will play video files from a dvd-r only if its finalized. i have nero 7 and writing lead-out at the end finalizes the dvd, at least thats what i read on some forums. and it did play a .avi file from one of my dvds but only one movie out of 5. and then how can i play .avi files? from a usb stick or sd card? i heard i lags Quote Link to post Share on other sites
