ejake
I have a feeling that this is an obvious question, but I've searched through the forums and manual and looked at the FAQs and still haven't found a direct answer. I am wondering if it is possible to connect a mini-jack to mini-jack cable to the AV2 input on the front of the unit for playing just audio, no video and how you select this option. In this particular example I want to output audio from my iPhone that is not available via USB. (Basically I want to be able to play Pandora and YouTube audio from the phone which is not supported over an iPod USB connection). I'm a little lost on if this connection can be made, even though it seems like it should be able to and if so how it can be enabled (which source to select). Please forgive me if this is an extremely obvious answer or is somewhere else on the forum. Thanks for your help!
07bspTC
I am not sure what you are talking about. Pandora works over the USB connection on my 3g iPhone. I have not tried Youtube, but I know for sure that Simplify and Pandra work. You just plug in the phone and once it loads click on the home button and then the app.
terron
You will have to use the composite cable that came with the unit and then get a headphone-to-rca cable and connect the two. don't forget to turn the AV/2 input on
greygabe
Well it sounds like you are getting audio already, right? Just want to remove video... Well you can't 'turn-off' video input just select the input so you start hearing it - then hit the map button effectively hiding the black screen - but still listening to audio
