sjwaste
Would the original iPOD USB cable that came with the iPOD work? I see that Pioneer cable has RCA leads as well as USB connector. If the stock iPOD cable works with the USB connection, why do we need RCA leads? You need the composite cable with the RCA jacks, the AVIC uses USB to control the ipod, but the audio and video inputs are handled via the RCA inputs, not the USB. Wait, so if I use the stock Pioneer ipod cable, I have to hook up the dock connector on the bottom AND something off of the headphone jack to get it to play? Or will it use the dock connector for everything if I use the Pioneer cable?
