ocdavep
i use isohunt and torrents as well, but for some reason i can't get sound via usb or sd card, the only way i get videos to play is off of my ipod with the ipod cable. However, itunes gets mad at half the videos i download that aren't from itunes.... what gives? lol
jreimers
Itunes requires video to be in an mpeg 4 (.mp4) or H.264 codec...avi's, and .mpg's won't be recognized as video in itunes.

maddog hoek
I pull them off of newsgroups that are on my isp's server. I use XNEWS. I'm pretty careful, no viruses in doing it this way over the past few years. A friend was not so lucky when he went for the 'Britney Spears Naked' thing.
