2fasst
I understand about moving the yellow/black wire from Pin 1 to Pin 2. I also understand that this wire needs to be connected to the Light Green Parking Brake wire on the other harness. Then these two wires need to be grounded. My question is according to the manual the Light Green Parking Brake wire 'Should have' been connected to the POSITIVE side of the Parking Brake switch. So am I understanding it right that to 'hack/bypass' this I should now connect this Light Green Parking Brake wire to GROUND along with the Mute Yellow/Black wire??? Please confirm guys before I short/burn something

dianebrat
If you look at the diagram on the install sheet you'll see why grounding it is ok.. All the parking switch does is bring the signal line down to ground when the switch is closed.
