scipiotc
I just installed this with the Pioneer/IPOD video cable. The hacks have been done and are proper. Trouble is some movies play while others will not. All the movies work fine just watching on the IPOD by itself. When I connect to the radio it seems the most recent movies I uploaded won't play. These are from the digital copies you get when you buy a blu-ray disc. They work on I-TUNES and transferred ok. The movies that do play were DVD's copied into I-TUNES by a program. If all the movies are mp4 then how come only some play. Any info is GREATLY appreciated! Thanks.
sortsol
Hi, I had a similar problem when I first connected my ipod. It turned out it was because shuffle was turned on in the ipod interface. So, go into settings and make sure shuffle is off (on ipod video 5g, it's settings --> shuffle). If this doesn't solve it, hopefully there are people on this board smarter than me who can help.
Kricket
well, i have no "fix" for this - but i did want to mention - some of the videos (ESPECIALLY the longer ones like video shorts and actual movies) take a LONG time to load (im talkin about close to a minute before it plays) so sometimes you really have to give it a LOT of time to load up a full movie also, ive noticed that on some rare occassions, the avic, for whatever reason, will start the video in "pause" mode - meaning, ill select the video, itll start up and immediately get "paused" - so i have to click on the screen and click on the "play" button im not sure if these things will help you with your problem - but its worth taking a shot with them - and keeping them in mind for the future...
