  1. Hi, I had a similar problem when I first connected my ipod. It turned out it was because shuffle was turned on in the ipod interface. So, go into settings and make sure shuffle is off (on ipod video 5g, it's settings --> shuffle). If this doesn't solve it, hopefully there are people on this board smarter than me who can help.
  2. You can play aac files that don't have drm on them. If they have drm, you will have to remove it (there are multiple methods available). Note, if they are drm protected, you can still play them through your ipod. Yes, you can burn anything you (drm protected or not) onto a cd through iTunes and then either play the cd or re-import them back into iTunes and play them through your ipod or sd card.
  3. I'd be surprised if it was your tint. I have mine sitting on top of my f700 inside my dash and it works perfectly. If it can go through my hard plastic on my dash, I can't imagine tint would be a problem. But, it seems like you've tried everything else, so you got me. Good luck.
  4. Dang man. Sorry for the loss. The Avic just stores the a reference to the songs, not the songs themselves, so, unfortunately, you won't be able to recover anything from the Avic. Sorry again. That sucks.
