remodrums
I have noticed that there have been lots of questions regarding vehicle speed sensor wires. If you are about to install an AVIC, I would recommend that you go down to a dealer and request to look in their technical manuals. I can tell you that it is not easy, but if you thoroughly search through the schematics, you will find the correct wire. I found that the easiest way to access it was via the speedometer wire in the instrument cluster. Virtually every car has an electronic speedo, so this will work. So start with the instrument cluster schematic. This is especially good if you have an unusual car that the rest of us members don't, making it hard for us to help you. Good luck to all! MaxdOut
Some cars have speed compensation volume controls so the vss may be a connection in the radio.
