choirboy82
Here is the deal. I am waiting for the last few things to come in the mail for my F700BT but there is one thing I want to do but am not sure how to do it. Here is the situation: I currently have an Aux port in my console and would like to retain use of it. I also have the iPod cable coming. Question: Is there any way or any device that exists that will allow me to hook the RCA cables for the Aux Port AND the RCA cables from the iPod cable. This will allow me to have iPod capabilities and keep the AUX port active. All responses are greatly appreciated. I can't wait to get this unit into my car!

No, not on the rear, the ipod cables uses *both* the USB and RCA inputs You have that nice full AV input on the front of the AVIC you can use for a 2nd input.
ggarcez
choirboy82, I had the same issue.....what I did was connect both IPOD and my digital Tu tuner in back input. When I want to use the TV I simply change the settinh for the AV1 to Video not Ipod and works like a charm. The only thing you have to do is to make sure the other source is turned off when using the IPOD. I used a simple "Y" connector. GUGA
Speedfreakoverdrive
choirboy82, I did the same thing as ggarcez only with my PS2. The Y jack works just as he said make sure your other component is turned off, otherwise you will have a "lower" sound on your iPOD.
1loudls
there is an adapter made by peripheral that plugs into the Pbus connector and gives you a set of RCA's for audio input, does any body know if there is a reason this would not work
