immuneone Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 Any tricks I need to know about? I've ordered a Metra interface for the sound system and already have an XM radio. In addition, the car is pr4ewired with a GPS antenna. My hope is to use the factory XM and GPS antenna - is it possible? Anybody have the harness diagram so I can find the speed sensor? cntrylvr79 Posted October 2, 2006 Report Share Posted October 2, 2006 Speed Sense brown instrument cluster, pin 2 or ECM Notes: The ECM (Engine Control Module) is on the passenger side of the motor under the cover on the 3.6L, and it is on the left frame rail below the driver side headlight on the 4.6L. On the 3.6L, VSS is in pin 22, connector 2. On the 4.6L, VSS is in pin 28, blue plug. Also found at the radio harness, on some models. as for the xm antenna thing, you can reuse the factory xm antenna you just have to remove the plastic piece around it.
