sibex
I flashed the unit manually, my Z1 displays this function not available . What is up with that ? Does anyone know how to take care of that ? Thanks ?
matthieuallie
u mean the entire Dynamic Display is not available or just some of the dynamics? on mine, when i select Slope for instance, it says "function not available now" but this is b/c my VSS wire is not connected. Other dynamics are OK
sibex
My entire VDD not available
ducatiboy
sibex, in your pm you told me your unit pops up the parking brake warning message. Unground the parking brake and reset the unit and see if that helps. You shouldn't need the unit bypassed for that to work.
sibex
Thanks Duc boy I reset the unit, the brake message does not come up, but my VDD only shows voltage on the left, the other two..not available Does it take time for unit to "learn". Thanks

Thanks[/quote] You might need to drive around for a bit, is this a brand new unit with less than 10-50 miles on the nav system? It needs to "calibrate" itself, see the sat signals and move around and get it self set up. Touch the one of the right and see if you can change it to a measurement that is avaialble (I'm sure the clock will come up). The center is MPH which should come up when you are in motion, unless it has less than 10 miles logged.
sibex
Yes the other 2..do work Speedo does not . I have less than 50 on the unit. Thanks
ducatiboy
I think you just need more miles for the Z1 to calibrate. Are you sure you are getting GPS signal?
silveradojeff
i had a similar problem when i first installed my unit. i had to drive around for a while like a day, then i could use all the gauges
