HELP! Double contacts from Blackberry 8320!

So.....

 

I have a T-Mobile Blackberry 8320 running 4.5 OS. When I first installed my 700BT on Monday and transferred all of my contacts to the unit they transferred with last name then first name.

 

I came to this site and did some research, so I went through and changed all my contacts in phone so that they satisfy the following:

 

No special characters in names

1 in front of all numbers

Numbers have no (,), or - characters.

 

I went and deleted all the contacts out of the unit. I went and clicked the import contacts button. Now, I have two full sets of contacts. One set with first name last name, and the other with last name first name.

 

Does anyone know why this is happening? I have read that other people with Blackberrys have not had any issues so I am curious as to why this is happening.
