I live in Florida and on a hot day my units lights just flash and unit does not startup for sometimes 2-10 minutes. Its almost like its too hot to start??? Anyone heard or had this problem? ANTP228 Posted January 30, 2009 Report Share Posted January 30, 2009 they told me the same thing about 6months ago, and i found this guy on e bay and he replaced the touch panel on my wife's avic d1 for 1/2 price $95.00 shipping included, if were you i would wait till monday when the guy calls me to tell me what the problem is and how much to fix it. $200.00 is pioneer flat rate to fix anything, it could be a stuck button and they want $200.00, what a rip off!! hang tight for a few more days and i will let you know how i make out and you can send you unit to the same people.
