njacobus
I own the Pioneer AVIC-F900BT and a Palm Centro. People constantly complain that they can't hear me when I call using the bluetooth and microphone. I have the latest updated 2.0 firmware and the newest centro firmware. Any advice? Bopper
I called my wife today while she was in the expy. I thought the sound quality sucked. I could hear myself over the car speakers through my cell and I felt it was hard to hear her. I wasn't impressed. The Mic in the car is over the rear view mirror, I guess it could be closer to the drivers mouth.

joegr
I've tried it with a mic that worked perfectly with my Parrot car kit. It still sucks. This is one of the big reasons that I plan to replace the AVIC. Kenwood looks like a good candidate.
paQ
That's strange, for the AVIC phone IS a Parrot and my NOKIA mic does give an improvement. Have you tried to set (or unset) the anti-echo function in the settings?
