letterman52
So I currently have a D3 installed. Well my wife bought me a 90bt for my b-day. So my question is the wiring any different or is it just a pop and swap. I mean the harness look identical. Unless I am missing something.
nitroearl
i did the samething, but i never messed with the wiring harness i just wired inthe new harness and pluged it in, i do think that they are the same though, but i do remember that the nav antenna is different so you have to change that. VTEC976
I believe that they are the same. I checked my 90 against a Z1 and they looked similar (both in VW R32's) if that helps. -Gabe

VBLUE42
They are the same. That already has been confirmed in another thread. The only difference with the two harnesses is how they are bypassed for the motion lockout. If your D3 was bypassed you will need to relocate one wire on the harness to achieve the proper bypass for the F series. Search the forum for detailed instructions on the F series bypass.
