A little Bluetooth Questin from a Newb

Got my F7010bt installed yesterday and I love it

I have a sprint Motorola Q9C that I was trying to get connected and download my contacts, and of course I ran into problems.

After some searching I found a solution I'm going to try when I get home today and see if it works.

 

Here is my question.

 

I have a Sprint Treo 755p that is my work phone but has all the same contacts since both of my phones are hooked up to my work Outlook with Exchange Server.

 

Would it give me a problem if I use my Treo to transfer all my contacts to my Avic, but then always use my Q9C to make calls?

I'm not sure on this, but I believe every paired phone gives a different file name to the contacts databse.

I think you must rename the 'correct' database to the name of the databse given on the other paired phone.

thanks for the responses.

 

I just got done doing the work around for my phone (picking the samsung A9xxx) and it works perfect now, downloaded all my contacts from my Q9C.

 

So now I don't have to worry about using the Treo for anything.
