bigace109 Posted February 19, 2009 Report Share Posted February 19, 2009 Heres the deal.. ive searched over this entire site looking for an answer to my problem, but am having no luck. Pioneer doesnt think anything is wrong on their end (of course). The problem: I have a 1st Generation Iphone, my contacts have been arranged with first name first and last name second. I changed my regional format settings to zimbabwe as to make phone numbers read 5555555555 instead of (555) 555-5555. When I snyc the phone to the unit, it transfers the contacts over just fine. Then when i go to place a call via VR, it never recongizes any names. I went into testmode, downloaded the contact files, and opened them in sqlite .. and come to find out, the format for the phone numbers is still (555) 555-5555!!! When I have an incoming call, instead of displaying the contact name, it says "unknown" or gives a number 5555555555. Any information or tips would help. I love the unit besides that!
