donmeca2020
i tryed the reset with still no luck the screen continues to black out the unit is on powered. i can usually hear music or something but the screen will black out. as i said before if i fiddle with the map menu and control knob together then sometimes the screen will come back on. dbduke
your back-up camera setting is screwed up. similar thing happened to me. i forget exactly how i fixed it, but somehow i was able to get to the menu (try combinations of reset and menu button presses). then go to settings for the backup camera. you'll see that neither the on or off buttons are selected. push the off button and you should be all set. philcam01
I just wanted to say, this site is the best. I've go to get in the truck this morring, start the truck and the pic with black on my screen. I beat my head all day thinking it was software problem. Then called pioneer and there tell me it's because the parking brake wire is bypass and if that's the case there is no waranty on the radio, but that I can send it in and in 14 to 21 days they can have it back to me I told the guy I bought pioneer's top of the line radio and your telling me that I might have it back in 21 days , which I reply you mean that if I had my stock radio in my truck and took it to ford there going to tell me 21days and then I can have one back, are you nuts. So why did I buy a pioneer??? he then replys gee sir I'm sorry you feel that way. Back to the point this post is exactly what was wrong with my radio, I was reading it going there is no way I over looked this. walked out to the truck and I'll be. So I owe this guy a beer too . Thanks again
cataylo6
What is the combo of buttons to get the screen back up? Been trying all night and nothing.
matt1212
called pioneer and they told me the same thing, that it was because it was bypassed and all hardware bypassed radios fail eventually. turns out it works fine now that i set the backup camera to off, but now my voice recognition doesnt work anyone have this same issue?
