Playa4Life352
So I have my contact list completely updated into my AVIC-F900BT and whenever I receive an incoming call, it only displays the number and not the name. I have T-Mobile and am using the G1 and I believe it is because T-Mobile always includes the "1" before all of the other 10 digits. Any ideas as to resolving this?? Possibly a hack?? That's described in the hacks forum... Basically, you'd use an SQLLite database editor to edit the phone number database from the AVIC to make phone numbers stored there match exactly with what your phone sends to the unit in an incoming call notification. paQ
When people in my contacts lsit call me (edited with the database editor) it shows the caller ID for about half a second or so and then disappears. When someone other than a contact calls me, it does show the number. How can this be 'wrong' in the database? presuming the caller ID is +1458793574 (US) or +44764849075 (UK) or +315803458934 (NL) (for instance)
