Pepper
I have a 2006 Dodge Durango and the guy at the stereo install shop says the factory rear DVD player in the roof only works when hooked to the factory stereo. Replacing my factory stereo with an after market stereo such as the F700BT, will result in loosing the factory dvd player system. Reason given was because Dodge/Chrysler DVD entertainment units are powered by the factory radio through a fancy computer wiring system. Now he wants to sell me a new dvd player system that will wire up to my Pioneer 700BT. Is this for real??? Isn't there a way to keep the factory dvd player working?
