TCPMP Coming to AVIC

Recommended Posts

I actually already started on this TCMP project with source code. If you would like to continue the modification I can put it up for public. My project should support sound for the Pioneer Deck. I made some minor modification to make it car friendly, however I stopped this project due to the fact that you can not output sound for all speakers in teh car, Only 2 front speaker will work. Also another reason, the processing speed of the pioneer deck will not be able to play some high def video however, by default the back end player of the pioneer deck will able to play it flawlessly since it is an actual hardware decoder in the backend unit. I feel that it is pointless to use tcmp when you actually have a better video player built in. The TCMP project i was using should be able to play all popular format, just need to finish interfacing for car use.

TCPMP .84 supports all that as well and runs everything as good as Coreplayer.

I'm sorry Leetcoder, but TCPMP seems far superior than the integrated player.

Every video except for my iPod videos are extremely choppy and sluggish.
