skon1etzk0
I have been having issues getting my 700BT to recognize my crappy flash drives, so I was wondering if anyone has a flash drive connected to their F-Series that is working flawlessly? And if so send me the model of it so I can buy one myself. By the way, I have ruled out: 4GB Insignia MP3 Player2GB SanDisk Cruzer Micro Flash Drive8GB Geek Squad Flash Drive4GB SanDisk MP3 Player The SanDisk devices were recognized, but kept causing issues. Thanks all!
cpojim
I've used a 4GB Geek Squad USB Drive and a 8GB San Disk SDHC. The problem with the SDHC is that if it is in the unit when booting, the unit stays dark until it reads the flash drive, and that takes a while (up to 5 minutes). I leave the USB connected and there is no issue with that. Once the unit has booted, the SDHC can be put into the slot, read by the unit, and be available for use. Both drives are MP3 files.
