elacher10
K... so I just installed my avic f-700 and hooked up my ipod video to the usb cord. I am using my regular ipod usb cord that I use for my computer to plug into my radio. The avic reads the library and everything shows up on my display screen, but there is a problem with my sound.... wondering if anyone has had this problem and what do I need to do to fix it. Let me know asap. thanks
srgcrespo1
it wont work with just the regular usb cable, you need either the pioneer original cable or the 50 dollar av cable from apple... the one with the 3 rca cables
dianebrat
Confirming: A plain USB ipod cable will get you ipod control, but no audio, the AVIC uses the RCA inputs for audio, you'll need a cable with USB and RCA connectors.
