  1. Are you crazy! if an earthquake was the problem then you would not even get the page to input the codes to begin with!! This is just typical Pioneer bull sh*t! I will never never buy a pioneer product again. Exactly. From a technical perspective, layers 1-7 of the OSI model all have full connectivity. If the earthquake really took down the server you wouldn't even be able to ping it, much less pull up a full web page that says you have an invalid device number. Earthquake = not related to this outage by any stretch of the imagination. This is not necc true. Just because

    Which iPOD

I have an IPOD classic 120GB and while it does technically work, it doesn't work well. I would stay away from the classic until the 3.0 firmware proves to fix the problems.
  3. This maybe out of the question for you, but the IPods resume where you left off. The problem with the unit is that it has very little persist through a reboot. Luckily, the Ipod keeps track of all of that.

  5. I have done a bit more testing. The connection to the Ipod breaks when I pop in my sd card while the unit is booted up normally. I believe there is some content on the sd card that is causing the problems. I use the SD for my phone and for modding the unit, so I have not figured out what exactly is causing the problems. Also, it is the same scenario. If I reset the Ipod in Itunes and resync it, it starts working correctly. The unit also behaves very strangely when I insert the same SD without the Ipod connected. It will keep saying "Non playable media skipped" and then the uni
  6. After reading a little more, it seems that I am not the only one with this problem. Has anyone figured out a solution yet?
  7. I have a strange problem with a new Ipod. I can connect the Ipod(6thGen) to the unit and it will work for a while. Then after a few days(I have yet to find the specific pattern), the Ipod won't stay connected. It will connect, show the pioneer splash screen on the Ipod and then immediately disconnect. I have the 900bt with the CD-IU230V to connect the Ipod. I am not sure where the problem lies. I can restore the Ipod to factory defaults, then reload the data, and it will work correctly for a few more days. But this is a very annoying thing to do, as it takes a few hours to copy
