I'm starting to get the feeling that this is a "help yourself" kind of forum so... I managed to fix the problem. Just resetting the devices didn't work. I had to reset the F90 and then do a restore and reset of the iPod. Once I did that, everything is great now.

By "everything" you mean hitting the reset button?

I have a iPod touch 4th gen. Proir to the update, I had no issues with the display showing album art. After the firmware update, it doesn't seem to be working at all with any album. What gives?

I started noticing static over my iPod playback a few weeks ago. It didn't happen all of the time so I didn't think much of it. In the past week, I have static on everything including NAV directions. I am using the factory amp and speakers (Bose) for my '05 Silverado. Any ideas?

Good news: Update went off without any troubles. Site is working and password was accepted on the first pass. Bad news: It DOES take every bit of 40 minutes IF you have your laptop handy and don't have to piss! I was late for work installing the update so far, I LIKE IT!

It's back up for now. Someone want to give it a try again?

No worries. Like a lot of other little "tricks", they aren't documented and 90% of the time, you will get a smarmy "just search for it newb" response from the site.

What a useless thread this is! Not one person answered my question. Instead, you spent your time complaining that you have to pay for something that you would like to have?? Why is everyone so angry? If you don't want it, don't buy it! If you think that you got ripped into buying a piece of junk, pay to fix it or sell it. I believe that a tantrum on a message board isn't going to convince Pioneer to give away something no matter how much time you spend complaining.
