  1. That comes up a lot. If you ever go into testmode, the FIRST thing you should do is open Control Panel and run the Stylus Calibration utility. The process takes perhaps 30 seconds and eliminates all problems with clicking anywhere on the screen. Of coarse! I was so focused on continuing the process I dragged and dropped and used the keyboard option. Next time I'm in there, I'll configure. Thanks.
  2. Retell, you rock! Install went smooth, other than my screen being misaligned so I couldn't get the top menu buttons in WinCE. Thank God for people like you who go out of their way to help others! My hats off to you. You are a gentleman and a scholar. Dear Pioneer, for about a year I have been struggling with this unit. Quite a few times my frustration bubbled over and my fist was close to smashing through it. Didn't any of your staff have it in their cars? This experience has sullied Pioneer's name in my mind. That being said, the unit now operates properly.
  3. Yikes, my apologies. I did read several pages, unfortunately I don't have time to read 20 pages. The content related to my post was on page 19. The pages I read were about trashing other members/posts.
  4. I think its reprehensible Pioneer is charging for this firmware upgrade! If maps need to be upgraded charge for it but don't bundle it with software required to make your hardware work properly. Price wasn't the issue for me to purchase this unit in the first place. What sold me was functionality. After purchase, the problems: 1. Super slow, boot up and switching songs 2. Unresponsive screen & buttons 3. I have to have the parking brake on to use navigation?!? 4. Won't recognize most addresses for destinations. The bottom line is why pay more for something that doesn't work properly
  5. Yup. Me too. At first I thought it was just the back arrow key in the folder nav (top right hand corner), then noticed the touch screen doesn't work at all. So...back the Menu. Frustrating.
  6. I listen to long mp3 music files, 10-15 minutes. My problem is when I turn the vehicle off, it goes back to the begining of the file. If you have several short errands, this can be quite irritating! I've looked through tons of forums, settings and documentation but can't find anything. I probably don't know the right terms. If someone already posted this, my apologies. Point me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
